Session 7: Dax proceeds up the main entrance to the Guild House in attempts to infiltrate. The rest of the party is outside the Guild House. It is sometime late afternoon,
and dark rain clouds countiue to roll in, producing ever increasing levels of rain.Dax opens one of the double wooden doors and quietly enters the Guild.
Dax is greeted by a 5 x 10 foot portrait of a younger Aaron Dolor, and an engraved wooden plaque below it that reads: "Aaron Dolor, Guild Founder, 524 AA" hanging
on the wall, and decorated with forest green tapastries on either side of the portrait that bare the emblem of the Guild. Dax opens the door to the main lobby,
and sees a Woodman Officer in Half-Plate Armor and a Rifle leaned up against the desk, writing in a book. Chaka, inpatient outside, kicks up the large axe dropped
by a Woodman Guild Member, and prepares to charge into the Guild House. Prifi manages to talk him down, as Chaka adheres to the guidance of a Cleric. Dax conducts
investigative recon inside the Guild House. Dax, with a very manly axe on the belt, converses with the Guild Members, and discovers that a Republic Investigator
and a local Alchemist will be in Arbor tomorrow to determine the cause of death of the Guild Member found in the Arbor Village center. It begins to rain harder.
A loud gunshot is heard inside the Guild House, Aaron Dolor rushes to his private quarters to investigate, and locks the door, ordering everyone to go about their
business. Dax, Dane, and Prifi enter the Guild House, as Dax, still disguised as a member, tells the Guild Officer that they are friends and need a place to stay
for tonight. They immediately proceed to the locked door of Aaron's private room, as Dane picks the door lock. Inside, the Party discovers that one of the captured
laborers had suicided by a self-inflicted gunshot wound to the head.
Dane investigates for any signs of foul play and doesn't find anything, but takes what little
Copper the man had on him. Prifi does not find any religious affiliation on the body, but performs the "The Last Sunset" ritual so that his soul may find his way
to Pelor. The Party reunites outside the Guild House. A rustle in the trees to the east reveals Aaron's wolf stalking them from the tree line, and soon after, 3 other wolves come to join.
Dax casts an illusionary spell to summon a pig to run past the wolves into the forest, the 3 wolves follow, but Aaron's wolf remains firm. Dez poisons a piece of fabric from his waterskin and attempts
to grapple Aaron's wolf in hopes to subdude it. Chaka rushes to attack Aaron's wolf, and manages to moderately wound it with axe strikes to it's back and torso. Aaron Dolor himself rushes outside and fires
a shot at Dez - which misses and hits the trees. A well aimed shot of Dane's short bow pierces Aaron's firing hand, causing him to drop the firearm. Soon after, Dax fires a round from his own pistol and
successfully hits Aaron's right knee, causing the bone to crack and protrude. Aaron Dolor falls down the stairs to the ground in agony. Aaron's wolf, seemingly close to death, backs away from the fight.
The Blink Dog from earlier teleports in front of the wolf, and appears to be speaking to it telepathically.
The Blink Dog praises Dez for attempting to subdue the wolf instead of killing it, and they both disappear
into the woods. Chaka is bewildered, and decides to stay at the Guild House while the Party binds his hands and disarms Aaron Dolor, securing his Masterwork Shortswords, Pistol, and a black-powder bomb.
The Party drags Aaron Dolor approximently 100m south to a more secluded area. Dane threatens to inflict futher pain by forcefully pushing her small fingers into his wounds (Intimidation Advantage).
Aaron Dolor, realizing his situation is hopeless, confesses to practicing necronomic magic in attempts to resurrect his dead father. The Party learns through Aaron that he has been practicing magic in the basement of the Guild House,
which was intentionally built on the ruins of an old Temple of Nurell, the God of Death. Aaron mentions that he bought a scroll from a wandering man who claimed it would bring his father back to life if he could unlock it's secret.
The scroll is said to be in the basement where he practices magic. Aaron Dolor heard stories from his father that an ancicent natural magical source existed somewhere in these forests, and made a deal with the Govenor that would allow
him to legally harvest more lumber than normal limits and to sell back to the Republic directly. Through the interogation, Aaron Dolor eventually breaks down and cries.

While inside, Dax also discovered a book of forest folklore, and a crumbled up note that appeared to be meant to be burned in the fireplace of a scheme to steal funds from the Guild and hide it in a wooden box buried nearby, only initials are used, but it appears 3 members are involved
