Sessions 021

Session 21:

In the morning, the Party decides to investigate the approaching Order Clerics, with the plan to scout their activities, and let Prifi try to use her position to gather more information.

The Party marches north to a cave where Kelketh expects the Clerics to land. The word "pomegranate" is used as a signal if Prifi is in danger.

The Party finds 4 Order Clerics, but Prifi sees that they aren't the usual sort - their robes are a deep purple, donned with high quality armor and weapons, they fit the description of a specific sect of Order Clerics known as The Magistrates. There are 4 who have landed inside the caves from a small wooden boat

Prifi knows these Clerics only by their organization's name, and that they serve as a sort of Secret Police for the Order to investigate corruption within the ranks, or especially important excursions into other parts of the world.

Prifi introduces herself, and speaks briefly with the apparent leader of the group. After a short conversation, the Magistrate orders Prifi to board the boat and return to the Order. Prifi insists that she has personal property she would like to gather before heading off, and the Cleric reluctantly agrees... one of the Clerics identifies Prifi as a Sunekeeper, but the lead Cleric dismisses the claim, saying that all the Sunkeepers are accounted for in the Cathedral

3 of the Clerics follow Prifi out and up the cave, one stays back to watch the boat.

The Party ventures out and prepares an ambush, and within just 12 short seconds, one Cleric is left alive with a dagger very close to his eye, and is being demanded information
